To Cook or not to Cook

This Cozy 2 room cabin contains all the luxuries of home with a fully equipped kitchen includes dishes, utensils, cooking pans, coffee mugs, and wine glasses! We provide the basic coffee, creamer, and sugar. There is a full size refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, Keurig, and microwave. Enjoy your favorite coffee sitting on the porch swing overlooking the lake as the Canadian Geese fly in for a landing.

BBQ Area and Fire Ring

Enjoy grilling at the high-top bar and BBQ area with seating as you overlook the lake. The BBQ is charcoal (you provide). It also has an ice chest next to the BBQ.

Bring S’mores makings and enjoy roasting marshmallows over the bonfire in the Fire Rings next to the lake.

We provide a bundle of wood for an evening - if it has been raining our wood will be wet, you may want to bring wood or fire logs & lighter fluid to get our wood going and to have more fires.

Private

You will have your own secluded hideaway on a private lake approximately 12 acres (when water is full) and a 5 acre pond on the backside of the cabins. There are only three cabins on the lake and you cannot see one cabin from the other and they cannot be seen from the road which makes it very private, quiet and peaceful.

There is a combination of road and path that goes around the lake, pond and property that is suitable for walking, jogging and biking. Feel free to bring bicycles if you want.

Fishing

We have THE BEST fishing around! Both our pond and lake are waiting for you! If you like to fish be sure and bring all your fishing gear (poles, reels, tackle, and bait). There are Big Mouth Bass, Perch, "there are no catfish"- all sizes. Bait suggestions: Spinner baits and top water poppers for late evening and night fishing or early morning fishing. The fish are waiting to jump on your hook!

Sleeping

In the bedroom is a queen bed and in the living room is a full size bed, and two chairs fold down as a single. It can sleep 5 or 5 adults comfortably and/or 2-4 children. The Cowboy Cabin has an air-conditioner and heater in both rooms with ceiling fans. Due to the fact that our rates are so reasonable we must charge a $25 per person per stay charge for every person over 4 people.

There is a Smart TV, DVD, stereo, games, colors & coloring books, and Dominoes to enjoy as well.

Swimming

The lake is great for swimming. We have paddle boats that for you to use. There is a sand bar about half way across that you can take chairs to and hang out on. Please feel free to bring your rafts to float around on, canoes, kayaks, and/or boats with trolling motors.
